When is your Sunday Service?
Sunday mornings we open the church for an adult Bible Study that begins at 9:15, and at 10:00 we hold Worship Service in the main sanctuary. Children’s church is available for smaller children, with children being dismissed from the main worship after the offering. For more information on the programs, contact the Church office.
Is parking available?
Yes there sure is! There is plenty of parking available in the parking lot located at the church. There is rarely overflow, but you are also welcomed to park on the street. We are off of a side street, so its not a busy road at all.
What is a Free Methodist?
The majority of details can be found on our Statement of Faith page, but in general, we believe the Nicene Creed:
“We believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
“And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father by whom all things were made; who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried, and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end.
“And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. And we believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen. “
What is a typical worship service like?
Services at Living Tower Free Methodist have a contemporary, Evangelical feel with an emphasis on modern Christian worship music and Bible based teaching applicable to everyday Christian life. Dress is casual and the atmosphere is relaxed and joyful.
A typical worship service will begin with modern worship and praise music accompanied by our own church worship team. An offering is taken, followed by the message from the Pastor.
Once a month (first Sunday of the month), Communion is taken. Communion is open to anyone that has openly professed their faith in Christ, regardless of denomination.
What about your building?
We’re very proud of our old school building. Originally, the Clyde Miller School was built sometime during the 1950’s. We bought the property during the 1990’s. At one time the city was going to demolish the building!
We have worked with many other churches and organizations over the years, and the current usage of the building is pretty typical. Currently there are 4 churches, a school and the Boy Scouts all using our building. We are quite pleased that God has seen fit to use our property for so many wonderful purposes.
